SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A roofing contractor in Greene County was placed on probation and has been ordered to pay back over $138,000 in restitution for deceiving customers.
Glenn Jessen, who operated Midwest Roofing Commercial & Residential and Overland Roof Exchange, submitted an Alford Plea on May 27, 2026, for 19 counts of deceptive business practices. A defendant does not admit guilt in an Alford Plea, but admits there is enough evidence for him to be convicted.
On Oct. 1, Jessen was sentenced to four years in state prison, but the judge suspended the execution of the sentence and placed him under five years of probation. The judge also ordered Jessen to pay restitution of $138,335.44 in payments of $2,400 per month beginning on Nov. 1, according to court records.
