What methods does Christie Buono use to rescue cats in Orchard Park?
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (WRGB) — Rescuing all the cats in Orchard Park by winter is Christie Buono’s goal. So far she’s rescued three of them and has a few different ways of doing so.
“I put wet food twice a day and I leave the dry food. I’ll check up the midday make sure that the water is there but it stays 24/7,” explained Buono. “I’ve had a skunk, a possum and a raccoon try to get in the trap So, trapping over here is very difficult and I do sit and watch the trap. I would not leave a trap in the park without me watching it.”…
