Over 10 Inches of Rain Could Soak Pensacola, Panama City, and Tallahassee as Florida Faces Super Soaker Pattern Over the Next 10 Days

FLORIDA — A wet weather pattern is setting up across most of Florida today, through the weekend, and over the next 10 days. Extra tropical moisture combined with a stalled front will fuel repeated rounds of rain across the state. Panhandle Leads With Over 4 Inches in Next 3 Days

Rainfall projections for the next three days show the Panhandle getting hit the hardest. Pensacola is forecast to receive around 4.8 inches, while Panama City could see about 4.0 inches.

Isolated areas near the western Panhandle may pick up 6 inches or more in that short window. Tallahassee is expected to see around 2.6 inches, with Jacksonville near 1.7 inches.

Central and South Florida See Lighter Early Totals

Across the rest of the state, the first three days bring lighter amounts. Gainesville is forecast near 1.1 inches, Orlando around 1.2 inches, and Tampa close to 1.0 inch.

North Port may see about 1.2 inches, while West Palm Beach is expected near 1.0 inch. Miami and Key West are forecast to get the least early on, with about 0.5 and 0.4 inches.

10-Day Totals Climb Above 6 Inches Across the Panhandle

Over the next 10 days, rainfall totals rise sharply across northern Florida. Pensacola is forecast to reach around 6.8 inches, Panama City near 6.2 inches, and Tallahassee about 5.8 inches…
