TOLEDO, OH — At just 14 years old, Mason Metzger is already making history in Michigan short-track racing. On Saturday, October 3, the Portage, Michigan teenager will take on Toledo Speedway’s Folds of Honor 50 driven by Lakeside Interior Contractors Outlaw Super Late Model Feature presented by Valley Truck Centers, Tom’s Collision, and R&M Recycling as part of Stars, Stripes and Speed Fest.
Metzger recently became the youngest driver in Kalamazoo Speedway’s 76-year history to win a feature in its premier Late Model division, earning his first career full-sized Late Model victory at just 14 years old. He started 14th and charged through the field following a late restart to capture the win.
