A wrong-way driver suffered major injuries after plunging into a flood-control channel in Fontana on Friday.
The driver was going south on the northbound side of the 15 Freeway, south of Summit Avenue, before the single-vehicle crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver was allegedly traveling near the center divider before they rolled into the concrete wash. The driver was rushed to the hospital. Their current condition is not known at this time.
The driver is not suspected of DUI. The cause of the crash remains under investigation…
