Gov. Abbott discusses education goals in Amarillo stop

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Governor Greg Abbott made a stop in Amarillo Friday to talk about his education goals.

Abbott was joined by several area lawmakers at Opportunity School. He discussed funding public education, creating the Teaching Allotment Program, and working to reduce screen time in the classroom.
