BELLEVILLE, Ill. – A Belleville family is seeking answers after their loved one was hospitalized and remains in critical condition following an incident involving police and ambulance personnel.
Thomas Belt, 42, has been hospitalized since Sept. 19. His family said they were not notified right away and that he arrived at an area hospital as a John Doe.
“His wallet was in his property with his identification, and I also found the investigator’s card in his property within his wallet,” said Candace Belt, Thomas’s wife. “So, I’m trying to see how he got brought here as a John Doe.”…
