Triple-digit temperatures didn’t keep large crowds away from the Kern County Fair on Friday, and fairgoers heading out for the final weekend will face more 100-degree-plus heat.
A heat advisory from the National Weather Service is in effect from 11 a.m. Saturday to Tuesday at 11 p.m. Even with the extreme temperatures, the Kern County Fair is still expecting big crowds for its final weekend.
