A convicted felon who was released from prison last year was arrested for a murder in Jacksonville. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said that the man who was released from prison last year was arrested again after he killed a man earlier this year.
Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office District 1 Patrol officers responded to a shooting at a home on Mayfair Road near Beach Boulevard on May 17th. They found 28-year-old Jarrius Brown with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital but did not survive his injuries.
