Two people were in connection with the murder of a high school senior who was shot and killed in Chicago’s North Austin neighborhood earlier this year, police said.
Melissa Castrejon, 17, was fatally shot Jan. 21 near West Bloomingdale Avenue & North Latrobe Avenue. Family members previously told NBC Chicago two shooters, standing on the street, began firing toward Melissa, her cousin and three friends.
