Charges filed in Civic Center MetroLink stabbing

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man remains jailed for stabbing a person and their dog at the Civic Center MetroLink last week.

The stabbing happened around 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 in the 400 block of South 14th Street in Downtown West, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statement.

Police arrived to find the victim, a 49-year-old man, blooding profusely from multiple cuts and gashes on his body. The victim’s pit bull terrier had also suffered a stab wound to her right hind quarters…
