Crescent City Connection reopens after nearly 12-hour partial closure

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A major artery in the metro-New Orleans area is now reopened and flowing freely after a near 12-hour weekend closure.

Louisiana State Police investigators say Troop B responded to a trailer disconnected from its tanker on US 90 Business eastbound on the Crescent City Connection Bridge at approximately 2:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 3).

The two left lanes are blocked on US 90B east before the Crescent City Connection Bridge due to a crash. Congestion has reached General De Gaulle Drive.
