Several folks who stopped by our KSN booth at Woofstock today kept commenting on the weather and how beautiful it is at Sedgwick County Park. Temperatures could not be any more perfect for early October and to celebrate the Kansas Humane Society’s 30th year for this event.
Overnight, temperatures will fall to the 50s with some to the northwest in the upper 40s. We should lose the clouds that developed by tonight.
A wind shift or weak front will cross our path on Sunday. This will not have a huge impact on our temps, keeping highs on Sunday in the mainly in the 70s. This front also comes through dry.
Rainfall will be hard to come by this week. There is another front on track for the middle of the week. It also looks to move through the region without a drop of rain.
A few clouds are possible Tuesday into Wednesday. Temperatures will return to the 80s on Tuesday and remain above average through the end of the workweek. We may more than likely stay dry until the middle of October.
