WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Oct. 4, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A vehicle struck a home and apparently broke its natural gas line early Saturday in West Valley City, prompting nearby evacuations and the driver’s arrest for DUI.
First responders were dispatched just before 1 a.m. to the crash near 4800 Cherrywood Lane.
Residents also received a phone alert and were briefly told to shelter in place because of a gas odor while crews worked to shut off the line…
