MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A Clearwater man is behind bars in the Florida Keys after investigators say he racked up thousands of dollars in fraudulent charges at an upscale resort using an elderly guest’s identity.
Malachi Ethan Keasler, 26, was booked into the Monroe County jail on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026. He faces charges of grand theft, possession of identification belonging to a person over the age of 60, and scheme to defraud.
His arrest marks the second bust in an investigation that began more than a year ago. Authorities previously arrested a codefendant, 24-year-old Emma Camille Wallace of Hollywood, Florida, in December 2025 on similar charges…
