Longtime beloved Kalamazoo broadcaster, philanthropist Lori Moore dies

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Longtime broadcaster and philanthropist Lori Moore died Sunday.

Lori Moore, a beloved figure of Kalamazoo’s airways with The Lori Moore show and decades long presence on WKMI, WKZO and News Channel 3, died Sunday from cancer, according to an announcement from her brother on social media.

“My much-beloved sister, Lori Moore, passed away today from cancer,” Gregory Moore said in his post. “She touched so many lives and raised over a million dollars for various charitable causes in the Kalamazoo area through her TV and radio shows and was loved by all. Deepest condolences to the world—we’ve lost quite a gal.”
