The family of the motorcyclist killed in a hit-and-run crash on Sept. 22 is asking for the public’s help finding the driver, who police say turned in front of the rider moments before the crash.
The deadly crash happened at around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Carpenter Avenue in Studio City. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the motorcyclist was heading east on Ventura Boulevard when a blue Honda Odyssey minivan heading in the opposite direction turned left onto Carpenter Avenue.
The rider hit the minivan and was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Honda Odyssey continued southbound on Carpenter Avenue before abandoning the van and leaving the area without identifying themselves or giving aid to the motorcyclist, police said…
