TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) — The search for two swimmers who went missing near the Fort Pulaski South Channel Saturday evening has ended safely.
The Tybee Station Coast Guard was called to assist Savannah Fire in the search for two people who had been reported missing after they had failed to return from their attempted swim to Cockspur Island from Tybee Island, the U.S. Coast Guard Southeast said in a Facebook post.
