Seasonal cocktail takes on a whole new meaning at Toledo Spirits Co. in North Toledo.
Its craft distillery and bar, Bellwether, 1301 N. Summit St., is featuring its Farmstand menu for the second year in a row. The cocktails highlight ingredients grown by area small and urban farms. The menu will last until Nov. 22, then Sleigh Bellwether — the Christmas menu — begins.
“T he vision for this really comes from us r ealizing that we’re an agribusiness, that we are so tied to what is grown and what we can have access to ,” said Andrew Newby, CEO and co-founder of Toledo Spirits. “ Most of the things we make has something to do with us being here in n orthwest Ohio.
