The 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon is right around the corner, and street closures will soon be underway for the big event.
The 26.2-mile course winds its way through the city of Chicago and numerous neighborhoods, and while most of the street closures get started on the day of the race, there are some that will go into effect sooner.
There is currently one street closure in place, as Balbo Drive is closed from Columbus to DuSable Lake Shore Drive, and will remain closed until the Friday after the event, according to organizers…
