DeKalb County: Horton reportedly expected to change plea
Former DeKalb County Schools Superintendent Devon Horton is expected to change his plea this week, according to Decaturish.
Horton originally pleaded not guilty last fall to 16 federal charges involving wire fraud, tax fraud and embezzlement. The charges relate to his time as superintendent of a school district in the Chicago area.
Following his federal indictment in Illinois, Horton resigned from his DeKalb County position in October 2025.…
