Ramen fest at Spokane Buddhist Temple brings community together on South Perry

SPOKANE, Wash. – More than 700 people picked up traditional Japanese ramen from the Spokane Buddhist Temple on South Perry during Ramen Festival 2026.

The event has sold out for 36 years. Temple chefs spent five days preparing the ramen, vegetables, chicken and broth.

One organizer said the event was about more than food…
