Sunshine and easterly winds kick off the workweek

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Sunshine, breezy to gusty winds, and below average temperatures were the main story today. Gustier regions saw wind gusts ranging from 20 to 42 mph. Breezy to gusty easterly winds continue through tomorrow, with temperatures staying below normal. The high will shift slightly late in the week, allowing some moisture to push into the far eastern zones of Southern Arizona. Models hint at a slight precipitation chance for the higher elevations, but that is still days out. Gusty winds look to return by the end of the workweek.
