No answers one year since deadly fire on Albany’s Twiller Street

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) – Tuesday marks one year since a deadly fire on Twiller Street in Albany killed two adults and three children, and there are few answers into what caused the fire investigators have deemed suspicious.

Fire broke out just before 10:45 a.m. on Oct. 6, 2025 at 23 Twiller St. The residence was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. Erick DeCamp and his children: 6-year-old Annie Rose DeCamp, 4-year-old LeRoy Bruce Decamp and 3-year-old Joanie Ann DeCamp were killed.

Nancy DeCamp was the child’s mother. She was not hurt in the fire…
