CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A Charleston man has been arrested on a charge related to child sexual abuse material following an investigation by members of South Carolina’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, authorities said.
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced that Cameron Cox, 27, of Charleston, was arrested Sept. 22 and charged with one count of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to investigators, a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led authorities to Cox. Investigators alleged that Cox possessed files containing child sexual abuse material…
