COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Average gasoline prices in Columbus have fallen 44.1 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.84 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 500 stations in Columbus. Prices in Columbus are 10.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 82.6 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 14.2 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $6.307 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Columbus was priced at $3.28 per gallon Sunday while the most expensive was $4.59 per gallon, a difference of $1.31 per gallon. The lowest price in the state Sunday was $3.17 per gallon while the highest was $6.19, a difference of $3.02.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 12.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.30 per gallon Monday. The national average is up 19.3 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands $1.22 per gallon higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country…
