JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville’s roads remain nearly as deadly in 2026 as they were at this point last year, according to data from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Transparency Portal.
JSO data shows Duval County has recorded 127 traffic fatalities so far in 2026, compared to 130 at the same point in 2025 — a difference of just three deaths year over year. The city has also recorded 21,077 total traffic crashes in 2026 to date.
