HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A meal out will come with a side of community support along the Grand Strand as eight local restaurants take part in CommUNITY Dine Out 2026. The event is set for Friday, and residents are encouraged to dine at participating restaurants, with proceeds aimed at supporting local needs through the Community Life Ministries of Salt Life Church.
Organizers said the effort will help fund initiatives including Back to School Fam Fest, Project A.R.C., Supporting Educators and First Responders, and other opportunities throughout the year to serve families and individuals in need.
