LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock County Clerk’s office is announcing a new service for the public through Tyler Technologies called Fraud Notify for property records in Lubbock County.
Property fraud is a growing white-collar crime where thieves record documents against a property in an effort to establish ownership for financial gain.
Once a person signs up, Fraud Notify will send an automated email alert any time a document is recorded in the office using the registered name. Documents included are deeds, deeds of trust, liens and notices. Court case filings are not included…
