For more than 45 years, the children of Glen Napoleon Burbage have wondered what happened to their father.
The 60-year-old mariner and retired Coast Guard chief warrant officer flew to New Jersey on a business trip in March 1981. He never made it back to his family to West Ashley.
Now investigators in the Garden State have solved at least part of the mystery. Using genealogical research, New Jersey state police and investigators associated with Ramapo College of New Jersey have matched Burbage to a set of previously unidentified remains discovered at sea in May 1981…
