POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 35-year-old Highland City woman is facing an attempted murder charge after deputies say an argument over a knocked-off hat turned violent early Sunday morning.
Tahler Lynn Weems was arrested on October 4, 2026, following a stabbing call at a home near Banana Lake Road and Clubhouse Road. Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the residence around 2:21 a.m. to investigate the incident.
