David Arquette returns to Virginia for Roanoke ‘Scream’ anniversary event

ROANOKE, Va. – David Arquette is bringing a celebration of the original Scream to Roanoke, where the actor’s upcoming appearance will carry a personal connection to the state.

Arquette, who played deputy-turned-sheriff Dewey Riley in the long-running horror franchise, will appear Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Berglund Performing Arts Theatre for Behind the Scream: A Live Conversation with David Arquette. The event includes a screening of the original film, followed by a moderated conversation and audience question-and-answer session.
