Over the past five weeks, crews with Bentley Tree Care have been working to remove fallen trees from the Erie Cemetery.
Last month, an estimated 500 of the cemetery’s 1,200 trees were either uprooted or significantly damaged by the September 3 windstorm.
“The trees here are massive,” said Bentley Tree Care owner Bill Bentley. “They are 120 feet tall, 180 years old. We’re working with trees that are historic, but the winds took them down and they are devastated.”…
