The GE Aerospace Foundation announced plans Tuesday to invest $1 million to support aerospace workforce training across Alabama through its Lifting Futures program, with an aim to prepare workers for careers in the state’s growing aerospace industry.
The investment will support three Montgomery-area partners in 2027 to increase career awareness, prepare entry-level workers, improve program completion and strengthen regional coordination, according to a news release.
