Oak & Stone officially cut the ribbon on its new restaurant at Eastport in The Villages on Tuesday morning.
Dozens of Villagers lined up for a chance to be among the first to try the new establishment, located at 7014 Central Lake Drive.
The business welcomed customers shortly before 10 a.m. following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, with early arrivals getting the chance to spin a prize wheel for grand opening gifts.
Among the first in line was Michelle Woodard, a retired judge from Nassau County who enjoys exploring dining options across The Villages.
Woodard, who was gifted a keychain as one of the first customers, said she had been anticipating the opening for days after watching the restaurant during its soft opening period leading up to Tuesday.
Rachel Bedore, an employee at the new restaurant who previously worked at Harvest in Brownwood Paddock Square for three years, said the staff took preparation for the opening of Oak & Stone very seriously to ensure seamless service from day one…
