Diane Fitzhenry still remembers the outfit she wore to her interview to become a receptionist in the Penn Hills municipal manager’s office in 1976.
“I had a white suit, a skirt and jacket, with a red, white and blue flowered blouse,” Fitzhenry said. “I had a white purse and white shoes. And I had real long hair all the way down my back then. I had it pulled back in a ponytail with a navy blue scarf.”…
