SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A 90-year-old man from San Diego died after suffering a medical emergency that led to a crash on northbound Interstate 5 on Monday.
Around 12:25 p.m., the 90-year-old man, whose name has been withheld pending family notification, was driving a Ford pick-up truck northbound on I-5, north of Palm Avenue.

For reasons still under investigation, he came to a stop in the number two lane of the highway after appearing to have suffered a medical event, according to California Highway Patrol.
