PORT WENTWORTH, Ga (WSAV) — The city of Port Wentworth is hosting its first Annual Garba Festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at VyStar Pavilion in Anchor Park.
The festival will showcase traditional Garba and Dandiya Raas dancing, music and food with free admission.
Attendees are encouraged to wear bright, colorful attire. The RVSP site tells guests they don’t need to know the steps, understand the language or have any dance experience. However, they should bring their energy, follow along and enjoy an evening filled with music, movement, culture and community…
