An all-day breakfast and lunch café is coming to 1660 S Mason Rd in Katy, Texas, where franchise partners Mario Harper and Ifeoma Harper have signed a lease for their first The Flying Biscuit Café. The café is targeted to open in late November 2026 and will join five Flying Biscuit cafés already open across the Houston area, with two more Texas cafés in development.
The Harpers were drawn to Katy’s sense of community and its growing, diverse neighborhoods — an area they describe as welcoming and full of people who appreciate good food and a warm, local dining room. They are also looking forward to building relationships with local community groups across Katy. The café will offer full-service catering, for team breakfasts, school events and family gatherings.
