EDWARDSVILLE — A Granite City woman was sentenced to 55 years in prison Tuesday. She had been convicted of first-degree murder in May for the shooting death of her ex-boyfriend.
Tara A. Anderson, 41, was sentenced to 30 years for the murder of Phillip Armstrong on Sept. 4, 2023, and received an additional 25 years for a gun enhancement for using a firearm in the crime.
