WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Update: Emergency crews evaluated 26 students and two adults at Dodge Literacy Magnet Elementary School, 4801 W. 2nd St., following a reported gas leak Tuesday morning.
Battalion Chief Jose Ocadiz said firefighters were called to the school around 10:34 a.m. Crews arrived to find the school already evacuating and noted a slight, unusual odor when they entered.
Students were gathered in the gym at the time for an all-school assembly. Some reported headaches and nausea, prompting the evacuation and an EMS response…
