NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — New music venue The Truth is bringing top artists and thousands of fans to shows in Wedgewood-Houston, but it’s also raising traffic and parking concerns for some residents.
“When you have 4,000 people, that’s a lot of people in one condensed area that’s basically one-way in, one-way out,” said Caroline Zigrang, who has lived in the neighborhood since 2022.
The 4,400-seat venue opened Oct. 1 on Chestnut street, featuring Miranda Lambert, Malcolm Todd, Role Model and Freya Skye its opening week. General admission fans were seen packed on sidewalks wrapped around the venue Saturday and Sunday, and Zigrang sent video to News 2 showing traffic backed up on the two-lane road in front of her apartment…
