Collin County’s Sheriff’s Department will not be participating in the long-standing tradition of the National Night Out program this year. National Night Out in Texas is usually held on the first Tuesday of October each year.
The County Commissioners Court eliminated the Public Information Sergeant position during its FY2027 budget workshop.
