SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Spokane Valley Sheriff’s deputies arrested Brandon L. Chunn, 40, following an assault with a handgun on Oct. 1st in the 900 block of S. Pines Road.
Chunn was booked into Spokane County Jail on felony charges of second-degree assault, harassment and threats with a weapon, and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of dangerous weapon possession.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:20 p.m. when a man went to his ex-girlfriend’s home to drop off their child. After a brief argument, the man returned to his vehicle where Chunn confronted him. When the man noticed Chunn holding a black handgun, he tried to leave.
