AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – Voters will decide two ballot issues focused on tenant-landlord relations in the city.
Issues 11 and 12 are both proposed charter changes, meaning they would alter the city’s charter.
What issue 11 would do
Issue 11 would overhaul upfront fees for people applying for apartments. It would ban fees on applications, background checks and other fees.
