COLONIE, NY (WRGB) — When Colonie resident Lisa Flood realized her school tax bill still had not arrived, she initially assumed it was simply running late. But by the time she reached out to the town, the payment deadline had already passed and she was facing a late fee.
“Probably mid-September, I was like, ‘Huh, they should have been here sometime soon.’ So I’ve been watching the mail for it,” Flood said.
