On Oct. 1, the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners held a press conference at Maloof Auditorium to authorize the county to pursue legal action against Blackhall Real Estate LLC.
The lawsuit comes after an alleged breach of a 2021 land exchange agreement involving Intrenchment Creek Park, located at 2901 Clifton Springs Road in Decatur.
Under the agreement, DeKalb County exchanged approximately 40 acres of county-owned property for approximately 52.9 acres owned by Blackhall.
