MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The northbound and southbound lanes of South Main Street from East Carolina Street to E.H. Crump Boulevard are closed due to concrete falling from under the bridge.
The road closure will remain “indefinite” until necessary repairs to the bridge are completed, MPD said Wednesday afternoon. Police reported the closure at around 2:30 p.m.
Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
