HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A Horry County woman has filed a lawsuit alleging a funeral home put the wrong body in her mother’s casket.
Iris Gordon filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Services, which is located on Carver Street near Graham Avenue.
Gordon’s mother, Iris Evans, 87, died on Jan. 14. After her passing, Gordon contacted Ocean View and met with Atu Williams, one of the owners of Ocean View, to make funeral arrangements, the filed lawsuit said…
