PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Providence police said a suspect was taken into custody after a 2-year-old girl and a woman were stabbed on Wednesday.
According to police, the stabbing occurred in the area of Broad and Public streets at around 1:20 p.m.
Both victims were taken to the hospital.
